Half cut apple

apple071210

I cut one of the apples I painted 5 days ago and sketched on the 10th of December, 2007. The color of the cut surface has changed a little while painting as you can see (I hope).

Two apples

apples071205

Do I look like I am a fan of apples? Ah, yes, I'm a Mac user and used to be a Beatlemania... :) These apples are some kind of gifts from a visitor to my solo show in December 2007. I painted these after getting home. It was the second day of the show—5th December, 2007.

Watermelons

watermelons070902

Assorted watermelons—striped one from Japan, long and round black ones from Kenya. Kenyan watermelons were harvested by my mother-in-law from seeds I carried from Kenya. They are pretty nice. Now it is the end of the watermelon season here in Japan then she uprooted all. They are good for sketching.:) Done on the 2nd of September, 2007.
