These are acorns of chinese cork oak (Quercus variabilis). My wife collected them at a forest in my neighbourhood. Sketched on the 27th of September, 2009.
I love rye breads. I often buy some if I have a chance. :) Of course not only for eating but for sketching. I sketched this piece on the 5th of October, 2009.
This is a souvenir from my brother when he travelled Italy for his honeymoon. He said he bought this when transit at Helsinki, Finland. Yes, its handle is an antler of a young reindeer. Sketched this on the 4th of January, 2009.
Another bell pepper from my in-laws. Colour variations of these peppers are good for sketching not only for cooking. Sketched on the 4th of September, 2009.
This rye bread contains walnuts. Very nice. Really goes well with some cheese and red wine. This was my birthday delight. :) Sketched on the 21st of September, 2009.
I really like French breads as I wrote before. Both for eating and sketching. I sketched this piece after enjoying the dinner on the 12th of September, 2009.
Ripen tomatoes again. Interesting to depict every small differences among each tomato. I feel sorry that subtle differences of the tones in red colour became hard to recognize after taking the photograph of the original work. Sketched on the 15th of September, 2009.
Let's get back to the usual single (double in this case... ;p) object sketches. Gazpacho is my favorite soup in summer period then my wife often buys ripen tomatoes. These are from the basket. I sketched this on the 1st of September, 2009.
