Cherry tree
This is cherry blossom season in Japan but I have no chance to paint them this year. This sketch is the one I did on the 8th April, last year. Yellow sand (sands/dusts carried to Japan by the wind from Chinese deserts) made the sky dark.

I painted this sketch on th 6 April, 2006. It's been a year since then and now the cherry blooming season is coming. This is a cherry tree in front of my place. I painted from my balcony at night time.

Horsetails
Horsetails (Equisetum arvense) from my backyard. I picked several for dinner side dish. Oh the spring has come. I painted this today.

Tulip bulbs
It's too late to plant these tulip bulbs. What should I do? I got these bulbs on the 22nd October last year and painted on the next day. But it's been 4 months without doing anything since then...

Cosmos
Cosmos bipinnatus in my veranda. I joined two brown papers because the papers I had were too small. I painted this on the 27th of October, 2006.

Pawpaw (Papaya) plant
This pawpaw plant germinated right after I have sown seeds. I painted this on the 25 th of August, 2006. I don't know whether pawpaw can grow in Japanese climate.
