This cat is named "Koma". A lovely pet at my parents-in-law's house. Originally, my wife's pet. I sketch her everytime I visit there. This one was done on the 20th January, 2007.
This is the 100th post in this weblog. I post my first reproduction work in oil pastel, that is one of the 1000 works memorial sketches of my Japanese weblog. As you see, this is the part of the "Milk Maid" by Johannes Vermeer. Painted on the 17th April, 2007.
This tillandsia (Tillandsioideae Tillandsia), one of the plants called "air plants", is the one I have bought at Expo Japan 2005. I painted this on the day I had bought, the 17th September, 2005.
Obi-age (right) is the thing I forgot to paint in the sketch I posted yesterday. This is used between obi and kimono. The left is obi-jime, tying belt for obi.
This kimono is "Shiro-Oshima". I sketched this having my wife sitting (actually, she was watching tv...) after she's back home. The date is 21st April, 2007.
I don't I better call this "pendant head" in usual expression in English, but we call this like this in Japan. This is made of glass. My wife uses this as a sash clip for kimono. Sketched on the 18 January, 2006.
French breads containing brown rice kernels and walnuts. I made sandwiches using these. Quite nice! I really like them. Sketched this on the 15th of April, the day before yesterday.
I'm tweeting. Language I mainly tweet is Japanese but any language-tweeter is welcome! Follow me!
