I'm travelling to Kenya today for geo-environmental studies. I'm carrying oil pastels. I'm sure I will paint as many as I can in my free time.
This is Estwing's geological tool named Rock Pick (Chisel Edge). This is already in my suitcase. I have painted this a few days ago.

Pear

This kind of pear is originally from Europe but Yamagata, Japan is now famous for the pear plantation. I really like this fruit.
I painted this on the 9th of November, 2006 using a light beige paper.
