I sketched these slices of German bread on the 18th of January, 2010. I took several photographs in progress and uploaded them to WetCanvas! Oil Pastel Forum.
Have just sketched this German bread. I really like this bauernvrot. I accidentally found this on my way back home this evening and I bought, sketched and now I'm uploading this image while eating. :) 7th of November, 2009.
I love rye breads. I often buy some if I have a chance. :) Of course not only for eating but for sketching. I sketched this piece on the 5th of October, 2009.
This rye bread contains walnuts. Very nice. Really goes well with some cheese and red wine. This was my birthday delight. :) Sketched on the 21st of September, 2009.
I really like French breads as I wrote before. Both for eating and sketching. I sketched this piece after enjoying the dinner on the 12th of September, 2009.
I have sketched a croissant today. Lately I use Daler-Rowney Murano paper and I really like this. Unfortunately, this is not on the Japanese market, though... On the 13th of June, 2009.
I bought this French bread on my way home and I have just finished sketching. I took care not to make the flour powders removed before sketching. On the 23rd of May, 2009.
I have been out in Tokyo for a week. I missed oil pastels while I was away... so right after getting back, I bought this bread as a subject and I have just sketched it in oil pastel. On the 20th of May, 2009.
It's been a month since I last updated this blog but I keep sketching. I hope I can show the works here soon... I tried a new paper for oil pastels —Daler Rowney Murano paper. This is the one. I will keep on trying this paper. :) This bread was sketched on the 29th of April, 2009.
