Another half of this daikon, japanese white radish was already eaten. I found this half left in the fridge and I liked the skin and dehydrated surface of the cut end. Sketched on the 16th of February, 2010. #76 of the book.
This is another carrot from the vegetables at the local market in Shiga pref (same as the previous post). Sketched on the 25th of March, 2010. I used Watson Pastel paper which was new to me. These vegetable sketches are some kind of experiment.
Another bell pepper from my in-laws. Colour variations of these peppers are good for sketching not only for cooking. Sketched on the 4th of September, 2009.
Ripen tomatoes again. Interesting to depict every small differences among each tomato. I feel sorry that subtle differences of the tones in red colour became hard to recognize after taking the photograph of the original work. Sketched on the 15th of September, 2009.
Let's get back to the usual single (double in this case... ;p) object sketches. Gazpacho is my favorite soup in summer period then my wife often buys ripen tomatoes. These are from the basket. I sketched this on the 1st of September, 2009.
I'm tweeting. Language I mainly tweet is Japanese but any language-tweeter is welcome! Follow me!
