Winter evening at Sukhbaatar Square

venusmoon111227

I could see the beautiful c-moon and venus in the evening yesterday (27th of December, 2011), then I took some photographs using my iPod at Sukhbaatar square on my way home and painted this sketch referring to the photos. A big illuminated Christmas tree with a red star (remnant of the socialism period?) is a typical object found everywhere in town in this season.

Thank you for your comment, Stellah.
Religious majority here is Tibetan Buddhism and it seems there are very few Christians but you know, Christmas is now widely celebrated regardless of religion.
