Amman suburb

amman080927

It's been long since I last updated this blog... I was travelling Jordan in later half of September for another archaeological project that I am involved in. This is a view from a hotel room in Amman. I sketched this sitting on a bed looking out of the window on the 27th of September, 2008.

Interesting to see that your more recent sketches have been of landscapes, rather than still lifes - reflecting your travels. I like the limited colours in this one.

E-J,
Thanks. I'm more interested in landscapes than daily objects when I travel. Most of the cities and towns in Jordan have limited colours because of the limestones. Quite impressive.
