This type of chopstick rests were the ones I found in a Chinese restaurant in Kisumu, Western Kenya. I looked for them in the street curio shops but I couldn’t find them. So I asked someone to make them.

The person I asked to make them agreed to charge by KShs 20(= JPY 30) per one. I have drawn the shapes for explanation and he carved a good sample then I ordered a lot. I also bought the case which is shown in the picture when I receive the products. These are good souvenirs, aren’t they?
