Painting is a visual art. More or less, its impression or impact decides its quality. Therefore, modeling/abstraction are somewhat important. But as a painter, I do not only intend to give some impacts nor psycological effects, as a matter of course, I paint because I want to paint something figurative. I, therefore, paint representational paintings. Representational paintings includes various genres such as landscapes, figures, still life, etc...etc. The difference of genres is just a result, not a motivation for me. I paint what I want to paint in my world. How I grab the motiefs nature, how I compose the picture with motiefs harmonized. These are the most important in my paintings. What I want to express is the harmony of motiefs and their world and it does not matter whether the output is landscape or still life. So I give much heed to composition. And also I sometimes add some implications to the picture. Oilpainting is not a technique for rough sketch and croquis to me. Since I would like to fully use this technique which Western Şne arts had taken a long time to develop, I spend enough time to paint. I often refer to photographs to depict minutely. But the picture should not be assimilated in a photograph. Even it must assimilate refered photographs to use photos for painting fully. Some of my past painings got assimilated or fused in photographs and some were even aimed to be a photographical. My current interest, however, is focused on how accurately the objects are depicted and how harmoniously the picture is composed.
