As you see, an old lady is burning straw at terraced fields. Yakusa area located in the northwestern Toyota, Aichi prefecture, is near to my study site —I often saw rural landscapes while walking around. The motif is this rural daily life. I changed the height of the terraces a little taller to weaken horizontal directions but mainly same as the exact view. The reason of this bird’s-eye view is because of the view from an elevated pavement which overlooks these terraced fields. This composition seems effective on objective description of daily life.
