This work was painted while I was painting “Her Place”. I put remnants of oil colors on this small canvas at first, I thought I better make that canvas a study work then decided to paint the cat which appeared in “Her Place” using a different photograph. This cat passed away in winter of 1998 at the age of 13. But I sketched her a few times when she was alive, I think I could make up obscure parts with my memory and imagination.
